At Honest Sleep, all our services are provided through telehealth using a secure, HIPAA-compliant software platform called SimplePractice.
Telehealth allows you to meet with your clinician by secure video and audio from home, work, or another private and confidential location of your choice.
Research demonstrates that services delivered through telehealth are as effective as in-person services with similar levels of reported treatment satisfaction.
Importantly, research indicates that Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia and Imagery Rehearsal interventions for nightmare disorder delivered through telehealth are just as effective as in-person treatment.
To meet with us securely using SimplePractice, you will need the following:
A laptop, tablet, desktop computer, or smartphone with built-in webcam and speakers.
A reliable internet connection to provide the best audio and video quality and minimize connection problems during your appointment.
A private location where you won’t be disturbed or heard during your appointment. Using headphones can better ensure privacy and confidentiality.
Please refer to the following guide for getting started with telehealth using SimplePractice.
At Honest Sleep, we can see you through telehealth if you live in any state with enacted and effective Psychology Interjurisdictional Compact (PSYPACT) legislation.
